JATIMTIMES – Kantor Imigrasi Kelas II Non TPI Kediri terus memperketat pengawasan terhadap keberadaan dan aktivitas warga negara asing (WNA) sepanjang tahun 2026. Upaya ini diambil sebagai bentuk peningkatan aspek pengamanan guna mengantisipasi sekaligus menekan angka penyalahgunaan izin tinggal di wilayah Kota Kediri.
Berdasarkan data penindakan pada tahun 2025 lalu, Imigrasi Kediri tercatat telah menjatuhkan Tindakan Administratif Keimigrasian (TAK) kepada 12 WNA. Selain itu, dua WNA di antaranya terpaksa dideportasi, dan dua WNA lainnya harus menjalani proses hukum hingga ke meja peradilan.

Dalam menjalankan fungsi pengawasan di lapangan, Imigrasi Kediri menerapkan dua metode strategi utama, yaitu pengawasan terbuka dilakukan melalui sosialisasi berkala, kolaborasi aktif dengan pihak pengelola perhotelan atau penginapan, serta menjalin komunikasi dengan masyarakat setempat.

Antonius Frizky Saniscara Cahaya Putra mengklaim kombinasi kedua metode ini berjalan sangat efektif dan berhasil membawa tren positif. Pihak Imigrasi mencatat adanya penurunan angka kasus penyalahgunaan izin tinggal WNA di wilayah Kediri secara signifikan.
Guna mengoptimalkan pengawasan terbuka, Imigrasi Kediri secara khusus mengajak rekan-rekan media massa untuk ikut berperan aktif. Media diharapkan dapat menjalankan fungsinya sebagai kontrol sosial di tengah masyarakat.

Selain mengajak media berkolaborasi Kantor Imigrasi Kelas II Non TPI Kediri juga turut mengundang para pengelolah hotel, penginapan mau pun Home Stay untuk mengikuti kegiatan Sosialisasi Pelaporan Orang Asing. Kegiatan Media Gathering dan Sosialisasi ini dilaksanakan di Gedung Gedung Grha Adiwinata
"Kami mengajak para media massa untuk ikut memonitor kami sebagai kontrol sosial di Kediri ini. Silakan informasikan kepada kami jika ada temuan, sehingga kita bisa bersama-sama mencegah terjadinya penyalahgunaan izin tinggal oleh warga negara asing," tambahnya.
