JATIMTIMES - Kasus senggolan yang melibatkan pesepeda perempuan di kawasan Jalan Raya Segaran, perbatasan Kota Malang dan Kabupaten Malang, mulai diselidiki serius oleh Satlantas Polresta Malang Kota. Polisi kini memburu pengendara motor pelat merah yang diduga berhenti terlalu ke tengah dan mengakibatkan pesepeda terjatuh hingga terluka.
Kasatlantas Polresta Malang Kota AKP Rio Angga Prasetyo memastikan laporan korban telah diterima dan penelusuran identitas kendaraan maupun pengendaranya sedang berjalan.

“Kita terima dulu laporannya. Nanti kita lakukan olah TKP, cek CCTV, lalu identitas kendaraan maupun identitas pengendara akan kita telusuri,” ujar Rio, Selasa (19/5/2026).
Polisi saat ini mulai mengumpulkan sejumlah petunjuk dari lokasi kejadian, termasuk rekaman kamera pengawas di sekitar area kecelakaan. Informasi awal menyebut sepeda motor yang terlibat menggunakan pelat merah dengan kode wilayah “L”.
Meski demikian, kepolisian belum dapat memastikan status kendaraan tersebut. Sebab, muncul dugaan bahwa motor itu bisa saja merupakan kendaraan aset lama yang telah dilelang kepada pihak lain.
“Kalau memang ada datanya, nanti histori kepemilikan kendaraan bermotor tersebut akan kita telusuri sampai pemilik terakhir,” ungkapnya.
Tak hanya kendaraan, identitas pengendara juga menjadi fokus penyelidikan. Berdasarkan informasi sementara, pengendara diduga berasal dari wilayah sekitar lokasi kejadian di kawasan Segaran.
“Sekilas dari informasi yang ada, kemungkinan pengendaranya orang sekitar situ. Itu juga akan kami telusuri,” katanya.
Meski kecelakaan terjadi di wilayah perbatasan Kota Malang dan Kabupaten Malang, Satlantas Polresta Malang Kota memastikan tetap menerima laporan korban dan melakukan penanganan awal. Polisi juga membuka kemungkinan koordinasi lintas wilayah hukum apabila nantinya diperlukan dalam penyidikan.

Jika identitas pengendara berhasil diketahui, polisi memastikan akan segera memanggil yang bersangkutan untuk dimintai klarifikasi terkait kronologi kecelakaan hingga alasan meninggalkan korban tanpa pertanggungjawaban.
“Nanti akan dilakukan pemeriksaan awal dulu. Kenapa bisa terjadi dan kenapa tidak menolong atau tidak berkomunikasi dengan korban,” ucap kasat lantas.
Di sisi lain, kepolisian juga membuka peluang penyelesaian secara mediasi maupun restorative justice sebelum proses hukum pidana ditempuh lebih jauh. “Kita tetap mengedepankan upaya-upaya mediasi terlebih dahulu. Penegakan hukum menjadi langkah terakhir atau ultimum remedium,” pungkasnya.
Sebelumnya, kecelakaan lalu lintas tersebut terjadi pada Minggu (17/5/2026). Korban diketahui bernama Septia Verra Kusumawardani (34), seorang pesepeda perempuan yang mengalami luka setelah terjatuh dari sepeda fixie gear miliknya.
Motor pelat merah bernomor polisi L 6806 BP diduga terlibat dalam insiden itu. Usai kejadian, terduga pelaku sempat menghampiri minimarket terdekat untuk membeli tisu guna membersihkan luka korban. Namun tak lama kemudian, pengendara tersebut justru pergi meninggalkan lokasi sebelum persoalan diselesaikan.
