JATIMTIMES - Sosok bayi berselimut kain ditemukan ditemukan tergeletak di rumah warga Dusun Beji, Desa Sawiji, Jogoroto, Jombang. Bayi perempuan ini diduga dibuang setelah dilahirkan karena terdapat tali pusar yang masih menempel di tubuhnya.

Kapolsek Jogoroto M Djulan mengatakan, bayi tersebut ditemukan Kasdolah (45) di teras rumah dini hari tadi pukul 00.30 WIB. Saat itu, ia mendengar tangis bayi dari luar rumah.

"Saat dicek, ia mendapati seorang bayi yang masih hidup berada di lantai halaman depan rumah dalam kondisi terbungkus kain warna putih," ujarnya saat dikonfirmasi wartawan, Senin (18/05/2026).

Bayi mungil ini masih terlihat kemerahan dengan tali pusar masih menempel di tubuhnya saat ditemukan. Seketika itu, Kasdolah melaporkannya ke perangkat desa dan diteruskan ke Polsek Jogoroto.

Tidak berselang lama, polisi datang bersama petugas medis dari Puskesmas Jogoroto. Menurut Djulan, tidak ditemukan identitas catatan apapun di dalam kain yang menyelimuti bayi itu. Ia menduga, bayi berjenis perempuan itu dibuang sesaat setelah dilahirkan karena masih terdapat tali pusar yang menempel.

"Berdasarkan pemeriksaan awal oleh petugas medis, diketahui bayi masih hidup dengan tali pusar dan ari-ari masih menempel atau utuh," ucapnya.

Saat ini, bayi perempuan tersebut sudah dievakuasi ke Puskesmas Jogoroto. Sedangkan, pihak kepolisian kini mulai melakukan penyelidikan.

"Pihak kepolisian melakukan penyelidikan lebih lanjut terkait identitas dan keberadaan orang tua bayi," kata Djulan.

Sementara, Kepala Puskesmas Jogoroto dr Suryarini Choerunisya menyampaikam kondisi bayi dalam keadaan sehat. Berat badan bayi 2,3 Kg dengan panjang badan 46 cm.

"Bayi dalam kondisi baik, gerak aktif, kemerahan, dan menangis kuat," pungkasnya.(*)
