JATIMTIMES - Ramainya isu larangan mengajar bagi guru non-ASN atau honorer mulai 1 Januari 2027 menimbulkan keresahan di kalangan tenaga pendidik, termasuk di Kota Malang. Menanggapi hal tersebut, anggota Fraksi PKB DPRD Kota Malang , Putri Aidillah, meminta para guru untuk tidak langsung mempercayai informasi yang beredar tanpa memahami substansi regulasi secara menyeluruh.
Menurut Putri, keresahan yang muncul diduga berawal dari perbedaan penafsiran terhadap Surat Edaran Kemendikdasmen Nomor 7 Tahun 2026 terkait perpanjangan masa kerja dan penggajian guru non-ASN hingga 31 Desember 2026.

“Jangan sampai surat edaran itu dimaknai bahwa setelah 1 Januari 2027 guru non-ASN otomatis tidak boleh mengajar. Regulasi ini perlu dipahami secara utuh dan tidak sepotong-sepotong,” ujar Putri, Minggu (17/5/2026).
Ia menilai, kebijakan tersebut justru menjadi bentuk kepastian sementara dari pemerintah pusat terhadap keberlangsungan kerja dan hak penghasilan guru non-ASN atau guru honorer selama masa transisi penataan tenaga pendidik nasional.
“Kalau dicermati lebih dalam, ini merupakan bentuk kepastian hukum sementara bagi guru honorer. Artinya, negara masih memberikan ruang, perhatian, dan perlindungan terhadap keberadaan mereka,” jelasnya.
Putri menegaskan bahwa peran guru non-ASN hingga saat ini masih sangat dibutuhkan, khususnya di Kota Malang yang masih memiliki kebutuhan tenaga pendidik cukup besar di sejumlah sekolah.
“Fakta di lapangan menunjukkan kebutuhan tenaga pendidik masih tinggi. Karena itu saya meyakini pemerintah pusat tentu mempertimbangkan kondisi riil daerah sebelum mengambil kebijakan,” ungkapnya.

Fraksi PKB DPRD Kota Malang, lanjut Putri, juga mendorong pemerintah pusat agar segera menuntaskan penataan status tenaga honorer melalui skema PPPK maupun formulasi kebijakan lain yang mampu memberikan kepastian karier dan kesejahteraan bagi para guru.
“Kami berharap setelah 2026 ada langkah konkret dan solusi yang jelas, baik melalui PPPK maupun kebijakan lain yang lebih pasti. Yang terpenting, guru non-ASN tetap mendapatkan kepastian, perlindungan, dan penghargaan atas pengabdiannya di dunia pendidikan,” pungkasnya.
