JATIMTIMES – Insiden kebakaran melanda kandang ternak milik warga di kawasan Jalan Makam, Desa Beji, Kecamatan Junrejo, Kota Batu, pada Senin (11/5/2026) dini hari. Api yang berkobar di tengah malam tersebut diduga kuat berasal dari rambatan api tungku kayu yang lupa dipadamkan sepenuhnya oleh pemiliknya.

Kepala Bidang Pencegahan Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan (Damkarmat) Kota Batu, Santoso Wardoyo, mengonfirmasi bahwa pihaknya menerima laporan darurat sekitar pukul 00.07 WIB dari warga setempat. "Begitu menerima informasi, sebanyak 15 personel dari Regu Yudha langsung diterjunkan ke lokasi bersama tiga unit armada pemadam, termasuk satu unit Gajah 3 dan dua unit suplai," ujar Santoso saat dikonfirmasi Senin pagi.

Petugas tiba di lokasi pada pukul 00.19 WIB dan langsung melakukan tindakan pemadaman secara intensif. Api yang sempat berkobar besar berhasil dikendalikan sebelum merembet ke hunian warga yang berada di sekitarnya.

Berdasarkan hasil investigasi sementara, kronologi kejadian bermula dari penggunaan tungku kayu di area kandang. Api dari tungku tersebut diduga merembet ke bahan-bahan yang mudah terbakar di sekelilingnya hingga memicu kebakaran besar.

"Penyebabnya diduga karena tungku kayu yang apinya merembet. Petugas melakukan teknis pemadaman sekaligus pendinginan untuk memastikan tidak ada sisa bara yang memicu api kembali muncul," imbuhnya.

Proses pemadaman dan pendinginan dinyatakan selesai pada pukul 00.50 WIB. Beruntung, tidak ada laporan korban jiwa dalam peristiwa ini, namun kerugian materiil yang dialami pemilik kandang, Bayu Trisna Maulana Saputra, cukup signifikan. "Estimasi kerugian akibat musibah ini mencapai kurang lebih Rp20 juta," terang Santoso.

Pihak Damkarmat Kota Batu mengimbau masyarakat untuk lebih waspada dan memastikan sumber api, seperti tungku kayu atau kompor, telah benar-benar padam sebelum ditinggalkan, terutama saat malam hari demi mencegah insiden serupa terulang kembali.
