JATIMTIMES - Disnaker PMPTSP Kota Malang meminta pengusaha menahan gelombang pemutusan hubungan kerja di tengah tekanan biaya produksi. Kenaikan harga BBM disebut mulai memukul sejumlah sektor usaha.

Kepala Disnaker-PMPTSP Kota Malang Arif Tri Sastyawan mengaku banyak pelaku usaha mulai mengeluhkan kondisi ekonomi terkini. Dia meminta pengusaha mencari langkah strategis agar pekerja tetap dipertahankan.

“Pengusaha sekarang sudah sambat semua. Saya bilang, ojo PHK ya, jangan PHK dulu,” katanya.

Menurut dia, isu stabilitas ekonomi global juga menjadi perhatian menjelang peringatan May Day. Kalangan buruh disebut turut menyoroti perlunya jaminan pemerintah menghadapi tekanan ekonomi.

Arif mengatakan persoalan itu juga dibahas saat rapat bersama Apindo di Batu mewakili wali kota Malang. Salah satu masalah yang dinilai paling berat ialah kenaikan BBM.

Kenaikan harga BBM membuat biaya produksi ikut melonjak. Kondisi itu kemudian berdampak pada daya beli masyarakat dan penjualan perusahaan. “Kalau biaya produksi naik, pasti akan diikuti penurunan pembelian. Itu multiplier impact,” ujarnya.

Sektor industri plastik disebut paling merasakan dampak tersebut. Arif menyebut biaya produksi industri plastik naik hingga 30 sampai 70 persen.

Menurut dia, kenaikan bahan produksi plastik dipicu lonjakan harga turunan minyak. Kondisi itu berpotensi mendorong perusahaan mengurangi tenaga kerja.

“Yang paling terasa itu plastik. Biaya produksinya naik 30 sampai 70 persen,” katanya.

Meski begitu, Disnaker PMPTSP Kota Malang belum menerima laporan resmi terkait kondisi darurat ketenagakerjaan. Serikat pekerja dan asosiasi pengusaha juga belum melaporkan adanya PHK besar-besaran.

Arif memastikan sektor industri padat karya lain, termasuk tekstil, masih relatif aman. Dia menyebut kondisi perusahaan di Kota Malang saat ini masih terkendali.

Namun demikian, dia mengakui hampir semua sektor usaha mulai terdampak kenaikan biaya produksi. Pemerintah berharap situasi ekonomi segera membaik agar dunia usaha tetap stabil.
