JATIMTIMES - Tersangka kasus dugaan pelecehan seksual dan pornografi, Mohammad Imam Muslimin alias Yai Mim, dilaporkan meninggal dunia saat masih menjalani masa penahanan di Polresta Malang Kota, Senin (13/4/2026) siang. Kabar ini mengejutkan, mengingat beberapa jam sebelumnya kondisi yang bersangkutan dinyatakan dalam keadaan sehat. 

Hal tersebut dibeberkan Kasi Humas Polresta Malang Kota, Lukman Sobikhin di kantornya. Iq menjelaskan bahwa pada pagi hari sekitar pukul 08.59 WIB, Yai Mim masih sempat menjalani pemeriksaan kesehatan oleh Sidokkes dengan hasil normal.

“Pada pukul 08.59 telah dilakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan oleh Sidokkes Polresta Malang Kota dengan hasil kondisi yang bersangkutan dalam keadaan baik. Salah satunya ditandai dengan tensi 110/80, dan tidak ditemukan gejala lain yang mengarah pada kondisi kurang sehat,” jelas Lukman.

Namun, kondisi tersebut berubah drastis hanya dalam hitungan jam. Sekitar pukul 13.45 WIB, saat yang bersangkutan hendak menjalani pemeriksaan sebagai pelapot lanjutan oleh penyidik, tiba-tiba mengalami penurunan kondisi.

“Kondisinya sangat mengejutkan bagi kami semua, karena tiba-tiba yang bersangkutan lemas, kemudian dalam posisi duduk terjatuh. Selanjutnya segera kami bawa menggunakan ambulans ke Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) dr. Saiful Anwar,” imbuhnya.

Ia menambahkan, peristiwa tersebut terjadi saat Yai Mim dalam perjalanan dari ruang tahanan menuju ruang penyidik. Tiba-tiba kondisi lemas dan duduk. “Dari rutan menuju ruang penyidik, kemudian tiba-tiba lemas. Langsung kami angkut menggunakan ambulans dan dibawa ke RSSA,” imbuhnya.

Pihak kepolisian juga memastikan bahwa sebelum dinyatakan meninggal dunia, Yai Mim sempat mendapatkan penanganan medis di rumah sakit. “Yang bersangkutan sempat mendapatkan perawatan, namun akhirnya dinyatakan meninggal dunia,” katanya.

Lebih lanjut, Lukman menyebut selama menjalani masa penahanan, kondisi kesehatan Yai Mim terpantau baik dan tidak menunjukkan tanda-tanda gangguan serius. “Kondisinya baik-baik saja, bahkan sering memberikan tausiah kepada sesama tahanan lainnya,” terang Lukman.

Hingga saat ini, pihak kepolisian masih menunggu hasil pemeriksaan lebih lanjut terkait penyebab pasti kematian.

Diberitakan sebelumnya, Satuan Reserse Kriminal Polresta Malang Kota resmi menahan Mohammad Imam Muslimin alias Yai Mim atas dugaan Tindak Pidana Kekerasan Seksual dan pornografi pada Senin (19/1/2026) malam. Penahanan ini didasari oleh banyaknya laporan dan aduan dari masyarakat yang mengaku resah atas perbuatan tersangka di lingkungannya.
